Hi, There is lots of good news today. If you have not seen our Web story, I just wanted everyone to know that Rick Lindquist, N1RL, our ARRL Senior News Editor, has been named to The CQ Amateur Radio Hall of Fame. Rick was chosen as a 2007 inductee. Rick has been responsible for the past decade for keeping the amateur community updated on new developments via The ARRL Letter, the ARRL Audio News and the ARRL Web news pages. That's a lot of deadlines to meet and copy to write! Our Web story fills in the details: http://www.arrl.org/news/stories/2007/05/22/100/?nc=1 The CQ Amateur Radio Hall of Fame recognizes those amateurs who have made significant contributions either to Amateur Radio or to their professional fields, as well as individuals--whether radio amateurs or not--who have contributed significantly to Amateur Radio. Congratulations to Rick on joining this elite group. And, Rick, good luck on your retirement on June 1st. 73, Harold Harold Kramer, WJ1B Chief Operating Officer ARRL - The national association for Amateur Radio 225 Main Street Newington, CT 06111 Telephone: 860 594 0220 email: hkramer@arrl.org web: www.arrl.org/ <http://www.arrl.org/>
