I'll be taking off tomorrow morning to start work at the California Department of Forestry Timber Mountain fire lookout in (the very rare) Modoc County, California. I'll be with HF gear and on both 6 and 2 meters, as well as have access to email. This is a "summer" job I have always looked forward to doing. I call it "The ultimate vacation" ! I Hope to work some of you on Field Day as K7ZZZ. Oh, yes, I will take a break from my work to attend the ARRL July Board meeting ! Have a great summer, everyone! Bill Sawders, K7ZM VD NW Div. ARRL
