Just a quick "thank you" to my fellow ARRL Board members, and League Officers, for the warm welcome I received as a "first timer" to these meetings. It is a pleasure and an honor to now be working with all of you while representing the Northwestern Division. I cannot fully express how impressed I was with both the demeanor and professionalism displayed during the debates over important issues, despite differences in opinion. I was nervously expecting the worst when I first sat down in that front-row seat on Thursday, but it was actually was one of the best experiences in my 44+ years as an amateur.
