Thanks. Unfortunately I think I was also affected by the previous advice by CEO Minster to QSO today as I was not invited by them to make a presentation. (I presented for the last two, even powering through their endless technical issues the second go around). I think some communication to them should be made that it's okay for us to go and make technical presentations with the proper stipulations. I'm certainly not going to go to them and contradict what was previously said. A question regarding the ethics of a board member giving a presentation during an election cycle at an event sponsored by the League was referred to the Ethics and Elections Committee. The committee has reviewed the facts and determined that as long as the candidate understands that there should be no campaigning during the presentation, we find that there is no reason under current Rules and Regulations, By-laws, or Articles of Association, to prevent any candidate, including an incumbent director, from attending an ARRL sponsored or sanctioned event and making a presentation on any topic during an election cycle.
