The cold in Newington could be worse.  I almost feel warm, even after shoveling snow today, after reading this from a guest-op in Montana for last weekend’s NAQP contest:

“The temperature at home showed -37F at departure. The fog on the highway was really brutal, even if the roads were generally decent. I stopped to get gas in Butte just to be safe in case I had a break down and needed to stay warm, but all of the gas pumps were shut down at both truck stops due to the cold. I learned that my truck temperature gauge stops at -31F and doesn't go any lower. I went over 2 hours without a temperature reading that registered above -31F. A quick search online shows it was -45F officially through some of the drive. I arrived about 1.5 hours before the contest, and Pat informed me that the antenna switching was frozen. Local temp: -38F.”

Looking forward to seeing you all in a day or two, travel safely.
