The attached note from Dr. Woolweaver, K5RAV, is regarding the upcoming application deadline for ARRL Foundation Scholarships.

I am an enthusiastic supporter of our development activities and believe there’s much great work ahead for ARRL and its Foundation.  I spend much time speaking with David and sharing ideas about the roadmap forward.

Would you please take a moment to read his letter and ensure that the members in your Division have the awareness and the opportunity to apply for a scholarship?

I remember as a college freshman receiving a $250 scholarship from a local civic group.  A friend asked what that would possibly be good for.  It was amazing how far I made those dollars stretch in paying for my books and drafting tools! 

Large or small, these scholarships are a great help to our young radio amateurs paying for their education.  Every bit helps.
