Glad everyobe got home okay. It was a rough ride, like Frank said from 12:30 on. I hit snow the same time and we went in two different directions (I chose a northerly route taking me up to the NY state thruway and down to Northern NJ from there, while Frank chose the southern route). I, too arrived home at 2:15pm. In NNJ, the second storm off of the coast didn't swing in to us, therefore we only got 10.4 inches of snow, more than enough for me!! Enjoyed time with you all.... Oh yeah.... Can we have the next January Board meeting somewhere warmer.....PLEASE?? 73, Joyce - KA2ANF ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andy Oppel" <andy@andyoppel.com> To: "arrl-odv" <arrl-odv@reflector.arrl.org> Sent: Tuesday, January 25, 2005 4:25 AM Subject: [ARRL-ODV:11793] Home At Last
I got home at 11:58 p.m. on Monday. I expect Mr. Vallio was somewhat later than that. The trip home was uneventful except that I noticed Glen Campbell on our flight (of course, he was in first class). According to his web site, he played the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT on January 19-23, and probably also got delayed by the snow just as we did.
