Good Evening,

 

The Amateur Radio Parity Act, H.R. 1301, is scheduled for a vote by the House of Representatives this coming Monday, September 12th.  We believe that it will pass on suspension and move to the Senate for consideration.

 

Chris and I have been having meeting with Senate staffers the past few weeks in preparation for this vote and will continue working to complete our goal of reaching out to all 100 members of the Senate during this current working period.

 

The Senate is scheduled to remain in session through the first week in October, however, it is more likely that they will end much sooner and go on hiatus until after election day.  If the Bill is not taken up by then, it would have to wait for the “lame duck” session after the election.
