My restaurant in Gardena (SSE of LA proper and close to LAX) got some serious rain, but was otherwise fine. Sadly, other businesses in the plaza were not so lucky. Looters came in at around 5am and broke windows and doors, taking various things. There was police tape everywhere. We have a drop gate, so they couldn’t get in easily. We have some unusual-for-summer light rain and drizzle here in NorCal today. Nothing serious. I hope everyone was able to evacuate from the fire up your way.
