I just received a call from Stuart Gordon, Lew's son, with the sad news that Lew passed away this afternoon at 3:57 p.m. after a long battle with cancer.  As you know, Lew has recently been under hospice care.  Stuart asked me to notify some of Lew's amateur radio friends.
