If you really want a hoot, read about HPM’s exploits designing a gas-powered bicycle so he could travel to his girlfriend easier; which evolved to developing horseless carriages and a lot of exploits testing them out.  This was in the 1890’s.

Yes he did and his dad also invented a machine gun. I had that on my 140th birthday card for him for the special event.

We have been looking at associations with similar fundamentals to ours to see what they are doing and what we can learn.

 

As a part of that, one team member came across this article about Maxim in NRA’s magazine, and there is a response to the piece in a subsequent issue.

I had no idea that Maxim invented a silencer for firearms as well as mufflers for automobiles!
