Hi,
I sent this information to the PSC Committee earlier in the week. I am now sending it to the full ODV list and HQ Department Heads so that you are all informed of the change. This has not been made public yet. We intend to release it next week.

Harold
--------------------------
We will be announcing a new rate for The ARRL Outgoing QSL Service (http://www.arrl.org/outgoing-qsl-service) effective January 17, 2011. The new rates are in response to recent shipping and handling cost increases. The last rate revision was in January 2007. We believe that the new rate structure is less complex, fairer to users and considerably easier to understand.
The new rate will be $2 for the first ten cards, $3 for 11 to 20 cards and 75 cents per ounce, after the first 20 cards. For example, a package containing 1.5 pounds (1 pound 8 ounces) of cards will cost $18.00.
FYI, In 2010, we 771,900 received cards in the Outgoing QSL Service. We shipped 907,750 (due to overlap with 2009).
New Outgoing QSL Bureau Fee Schedule:
# of Cards | Weight | Fee |
1 – 10 | NA | $ 2.00 |
11 – 20 | NA | $ 3.00 |
Greater than 21 | $ 0.75 per ounce
