I had to speak at a hamfest north of Detroit this morning, so I was away from home for nearly all of the CQWW. Had a bunch of fun in it, though. I ran my IC-706MkII and High Sierra on 10-15-20 on the way up and back (last night and this afternoon). Didn't log any of the QSOs of Saturday, but managed to scribble down nearly all of them today. The sun apparently had "done in" my logging micro-recorder. Anyway, I heard HC8L, but don't recall if I wkd it. Wkd some of the relocated locals who are in the Caribbean, a few Eu's, Africans, bunch of Latin American and North American stns. I hardly believed the reports I was receiving - all 59! :-) 73 Jim Weaver, K8JE Director, Great Lakes Division ARRL 5065 Bethany Rd., Mason, OH 45040 Tel. 513-459-0142, E-mail <mailto:k8je@arrl.org> k8je@arrl.org ARRL: The reason Amateur Radio is!
