According to news reports, today President Bush will make a speech in Minneapolis promoting broadband access, with more specifics than were contained in the brief mention of broadband that was added at the last minute to a speech he gave in Albuquerque last month. It seems doubtful to me that BPL will be specically mentioned, although that's certainly a possibility. No doubt one focus of the speech will be the reduction of regulatory barriers to broadband deployment. We'll get a release ready emphasizing the ARRL's support for broadband access via technologies that do not pollute the radio spectrum. Dave K1ZZ
