
The ARRL Ethics and Elections Committee has completed its review of the qualifications of nominees for ARRL Director and Vice Director for the fall 2014 election cycle. All nominees have been found to be eligible. They are: Atlantic Division for Director: Tom Abernethy, W3TOM Phil Theis, K3TUF Atlantic Division for Vice Director: Scott Bauer, W2LC Robert Famiglio, K3RF John Mueller, K2BT Dakota Division for Director: Greg Widin, K0GW Dakota Division for Vice Director: Kent Olson, KA0LDG Delta Division for Director: David Norris, K5UZ Delta Division for Vice Director: Ed Hudgens, WB4RHQ Great Lakes Division for Director: Dale Williams, WA8EFK Great Lakes Division for Vice Director: Tom Delaney, W8WTD Steven Putman, N8ZR Midwest Division for Director: Rod Blocksome, K0DAS There was no nominee for Midwest Division Vice Director. There being only one eligible candidate for their positions, the following are declared elected for three-year terms beginning at noon January 1, 2015: Dakota Division Director, Greg Widin, K0GW Dakota Division Vice Director, Kent Olson, KA0LDG Delta Division Director, David Norris, K5UZ Delta Division Vice Director, Ed Hudgens, WB4RHQ Great Lakes Division Director, Dale Williams, WA8EFK Midwest Division Director, Rod Blocksome, K0DAS Balloting will take place in the Atlantic Division for Director and Vice Director and in the Great Lakes Division for Vice Director. The position of Midwest Division Vice Director is currently held by Director-elect Blocksome. When the position becomes vacant it will be filled by appointment by ARRL President Kay Craigie, N3KN.
