When you say "some states" is that observation limited to NJ and NY or do you have evidence of adverse action taken by other states?
In order to deal with NJ/NY, we need the contact information for the agencies and the individuals that run those agencies or that are responsible for enforcement of the rules you cited.

Operation in state parks has become popular, especially with the POTA/SOTA chasers and activators.
Some states have started restricting ham radio activity in parks. NJ is known for giving some a hard time, even those who drive in with vehicle mounted antennas, for example contest rovers. K2EZ, for example, has had issues in High Point State Park in NJ. The park rangers stated that they had concerns over safety. This despite the fact that the antennas regularly see highway speeds and have not had any issues.
Now I am getting word that NYS parks is requiring a special permit for ham activations.
See this: https://reflector.sota.org.uk/t/permit-required-w2-gc-020-state-park-lands/2...
NYS is likely citing this: https://parks.ny.gov/documents/inside-our-agency/PublicDocuments/GuidancePol...
Is there anything that the League can do to perhaps educate the state parks departments? How would we deal with this, if it becomes widespread?
