The DXAC Chair has been slowed a bit by some back problems but they do have a proposal that they are looking at and should be sending to PSC.

I seem to recall seeing in P&SC minutes, since our January meeting, that the DXAC had no tasking. That does not seem to me to be correct. While I was the P&SC liaison, I had proposed a tasking concerning digital issues, including FT8, which Greg Sarratt and I drafted and conveyed to the DXAC. Subsequently, I accepted their report and forwarded it on to the P&SC in January. Unfortunately, the DXAC's report did not arrive at any conclusions, so I proposed to the P&SC that the report be returned to the DXAC with a directive to provide the P&SC with some concrete recommendations. While the P&SC agreed with this course of action, I do not know if or how that has been conveyed to the DXAC.

Furthermore, the DXAC provided me with a separate, unsolicited report containing a number issues that they suggested for taskings, which I also conveyed to the P&SC. I used their outline for discussion points at the Visalia DX Forum, and plan to do so again in August at the Northwestern Division's DX Convention. I do not know what, if anything, has been done with this report either. Since the January Board meeting, I am no longer on the P&SC, and therefore I was replaced as the DXAC liaison.

Thank you for your question, as I have been wondering what has been going on with those matters.

That worries me a lot. These are our eyes and ears and really supposed
to be a deliberative body of DXers who can provide expert
recommendations on DX issues.

DXers are one of the core sets of supporters of the league. Many DXers
retain ARRL membership because of our service to the DX community and
administration of awards programs. I would hope that the concerns of
the DX community are being appropriately addressed.

Have any of you heard similar from your DXAC rep?
