Last week's IN Newsletter showed me as being on vacation beginning tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon and continuing through the following Wednesday. Some of you know that I will be in Dubai for the CQ WPX CW Contest this weekend, operating A61AJ as part of a multi-multi team that includes K3EST, W6OAT, W6OSP, G3SXW, S50A, S53R, JE1CKA, PY5EG, SM7PKK, ON5NT, and ON6TT.

I understand there is Internet access from the shack and I hope to be able to check email once in a while (but not during the contest).

This is my first trip to the UAE. While it's strictly vacation, I hope to learn something that will be helpful in planning for WRC-07 (lack of support from the Arab States was our biggest stumbling block at WRC-03).
