Following on what
Chris wrote, if interference from BPL is so serious that government stations
located far away from residential-neighborhood power lines need protection from
it, why wouldn't licensed stations located very close to such lines also be
subject to hamful interference?
Don't get me wrong.
I like science fiction -- but not as the basis for regulatory
decisions.
Is there any way to
find out how much money the power line communications industry donated to the
election campaigns of the two major-party presidential candidates? That may not
be what's driving this steam-roller, but I have to wonder.
