This past weekend the Executive Committee held a very productive meeting in St. Louis, addressing a number of items and working down our action item list.

One thing I want to report now is the EC finalized the draft TOR for the initial phase of our band planning process. There are some modifications to be made to the draft based on the meeting discussion. When that is completed in the next few days it will go back to the EC for email approval then be distributed to the board for approval by email so we can get the process in place before the July meeting.

The basic details are that an initial committee will be made up of six members; four from the Director/Officer/Vice Director ranks and two from staff. The initial phase will be to assemble and review the existing HF band plans and outline the process for phase 2 that will include possibly an expanded committee and solicitation from the amateur community.

Again, I want to emphasize this is the initial phase, and the details and TOR will be sent to you for review in the very near future.
