In the “And you thought we had problems” department, the volcanic ash that is drifting from Iceland into European airspace has forced the cancellation of this weekend’s IARU Region 1 Executive Committee meeting in Sofia. They’re trying to set up a Webex meeting instead (EC member Hani, OD5TE works for Cisco Systems).
