If you have access to the September issue of Worldradio, turn to the end of John Johnston W3BE's "Rules & Regs" column, on page 15, and read his accolade to Fred Maia W5YI. The sentence that best reminds me why it was such fun to be a League official when J.J. was at the FCC: "Fred, you are at the top of my list of hams who make Amateur Radio the greatest hobby in the world."
