Ria & ODV,
The current status of the 60m issue (RM-11785) remains as stated in the linked FCC filing at pages 2-3.

CONFIDENTIAL: Coincidentally, today I had lunch with Dave Sumner, K1ZZ, and one of the items we discussed was this issue and what went on during negotiations at WRC-2015. At the FCC, there is a draft Notice of Proposed Rulemaking
to implement the WRC allocation as indicated in the linked letter.
If this doesn’t answer your question, let me know.

What is our current status regarding the 60m allocation?
Are we looking to ask the FCC and NTIA for it to be made it non-channelized, or are we fine with status quo?
From what I understand there was an IARU recommendation.
If we do get rid of the channels, for many radios today it’s just a software update to implement.
Thanks
Ria
