Dick felt that we should have emphasized public service more than we did, and had several other suggestions relating to the mission statement and other matters. His suggestions are contained in a document which is attached. He offers them with no expectation that any of his ideas will be incorporated into our final plan (though his thoughts are more in concert with the board's than he might expect). He simply thought that we might find the well considered views of a rank and file member valuable as we work on this matter. I shared this with Coy and he asked that I circulate it to the board, as a prelude to our consideration of the strategic plan, which will be on the agenda in January.
