Earlier today senior FCC management advised employees and the public that the Commission has enough funds on hand to continue full operations through Oct. 20 in the event of a general federal government shutdown.

Accordingly I do not expect any disruption to FCC services and actions involving the Amateur Radio Services unless a shutdown extends beyond Oct. 20.
