I was fortunate to know Mary and work with her in her capacity as Chief Development Officer of the League. She had a very outgoing and vibrant personality, and I really cannot begin to describe all of her positive attributes. What impressed me the most was her desire to move forward, no matter what obstacles were put in her way. I remember sitting with her at a Hamfest. After the 10th ham that stopped to talk with her said that they owed her a check (ARRL Donation), I said "How do you DO that?" Somehow, she did, and she did it very well! I remember many Donor Dinners at Dayton with her inspiring talks from the podium. She will be truly missed. Rest in peace, Mary.
