ARRL ODV:

I just checked with Mintz & Hoke and only 4 people of the 35 members of the Board family on ODV have completed the survey requesting you to describe the organization today and how you would want it to be described in the future. I have to say I’m pretty disappointed with the participation.

This is an opportunity for the elected leaders of the organization to formally help in setting the direction for the organization and participate in the discussion of where the ARRL is going. We’ve talked a lot about making the ARRL attractive to the new Amateurs and this is an important part of the process. It’s a big responsibility to consider how we may need to change the organization to help it grow. Change is hard, I understand that. And this survey makes you think. But that’s exactly why you need to participate with your opinions. There is no right or wrong answer, but your opinion is important and I would think you would want it considered.

The original date to complete your participation was tomorrow, but I’ve bought some additional time from Mintz & Hoke. The new (and final) deadline is Monday, September 24^th. PLEASE, take the approximately 15 minutes it requires to complete the survey. Again, the link for participation is:

As part of the Discovery and Strategy process defined by Mintz & Hoke in the first stages of the project, they are asking for input from staff and Board regarding how we see the organization today and where we see the future of the ARRL. Your input is important to this process and is key to laying out a direction for the future.

To participate in this process, there is a link below to three questions to which we would like you to respond. The input will be collated and presented as part of the presentation to the Board expected for the January meeting. The request from Mintz & Hoke is also included below.
