Cliff, the database that will be used for automatic scoring is to be accessible for queries by call sign. It is rather imperfect at present and will never be 100% accurate. For example, there is no way except by manual entry for the database to know that V31JP was once a Section Communications Manager (in Michigan as K8HKM), or even that he is a Life Member as K8JP. I think we would have to consider possible unintended consequences of making the database itself available, even after we clean it up. There are tens of thousands of call signs in it, even excluding the members and LMs who have no additional point value. I will copy this message to Dave Patton in case Dave has additional observations/information. There are folks working on preparing such listings from various sources for some of the logging programs, and it would save a lot of time and effort. More importantly, it would give publicity to ARRL volunteers, and help promote QSO Party activity. Cliff K0CA
