The version that Kay saw is somewhat shorter than Harold's original but frankly is still a bit too long for the typical hour-long slot on a hamfest or convention program. I barely got through it in an hour and didn't have the time I had intended for questions at the end. I didn't digress too much but did take the time to emphasize that the ARRL is primarily a volunteer organization and that one of HQ's principal functions is the support of volunteers. I also tried to point out that even the staff members with 1st call area call signs often come from other parts of the country. I, however, cannot email it since it is too large (almost 15MB) to go through most mail clients. I will have it posted on the ODV page of the new Website by tomorrow. You should all be able to access it there, and, if you cannot, we need to know that anyway. Feel free to modify it as required for your individual presentation. I just added some new pictures and update it constantly as I visit various hamfests. 73, Harold Harold Kramer, WJ1B Chief Operating Officer ARRL - The national association for Amateur Radio(tm) 225 Main Street Newington, CT 06111 Telephone: 860 594 0220 email: hkramer@arrl.org <mailto:hkramer@arrl.org> web: www.arrl.org/ <http://www.arrl.org/>
