[ARRL-ODV:11601] FCC issues $125,000 NAL for illegal CB sales

Today, the Commission released the attached $125,000 NAL issued to Pilot Travel Centers for apparent willful and repeated violation of Section 302(b) of the Act and Section 2.803(a)(1) of the Rules. Specifically, the NAL found Pilot apparently liable for offering for sale radio frequency devices without the required Commission equipment authorization. This is equipment that is masqueraded as "10 meter" amateur transceivers. I'll work up a brief statement endorsing the Commission's action. Dave K1ZZ
