Well presented question Lee. Much has been published lately on this topic. The narrowed question in that regard is what does it mean specifically for our League internally in terms of handling logging chores (LoTW), traffic handling, ARES forms, reporting and many of the data driven tasks we sometime struggle with? That might be just a few years away – or less. AI may be a blessing or solution of sorts. It is not yet clear what problems it may create for the ARRL as well except for possible competition from smaller entities, profit or non-profit organizations providing services to hams. I thought about your potential cooperation with a startup which has developed a fully autonomous AI SaaS platform that, based on any type of data related to any industry, is able to create other AIs in a fully automated way, which makes teams of data scientists / data engineers redundant and saves an enormous amount of effort, time and costs. AI devices creating their own AI devices without human input......... Makes one wonder with the strong interest in all things AI, how, if at all, this might have an impact on the future of Amateur Radio. Lee
