Dear President Joel Harrison, W5ZN and David Sumner, K1ZZ, Executive Vice President/Chief Executive Officer and Secretary,

I am a long time member just getting back into active amateur radio after many years of relative inactivity.  A lot has changed and much of it seems for the better for our hobby.  I am writing to commend you on the wonderful changes in responsiveness that I perceive have occurred there at headquarters.  It was a breath of fresh air to have my annual renewal appreciated with a personal email message.  Today I sent a query about LOTW to Member Services and received an acknowledgement within five minutes.  I especially want to recognize Amy Hurtado, KB1NXO, in Member Services and Cathy Stepina in the ARRL Fulfillment Department.

I commend your efforts to reach out to members and make them feel a part of the organization.  This should help the effort to sustain interest in ham radio and grow the hobby.
