Dear Officers, Directors, and Vice-Directors,

I have received and accepted a letter of resignation from Mike Corey, effective February 15, 2019.  The separation agreement contains the language below.

NON-DISPARAGEMENT:  You agree not to make any critical or disparaging statements, comments or remarks (oral or written) to any person or entity about ARRL or any of its products or services, or do anything which would interfere with or harm the business, business prospects or reputation of ARRL and/or ARRL’s existing or prospective clients, customers or other business relationships; provided, however, that nothing herein shall prohibit or prevent you from providing truthful information when required by legal process or in response to inquiries by regulatory or law enforcement officers.  The officers and directors of ARRL agree not to make any critical or disparaging statements, comments or remarks (oral or written) to any person or entity about you or your services; provided, however, that nothing herein shall prohibit or prevent such officers and directors from providing truthful information when required by legal process or in response to inquiries by regulatory or law enforcement officers.

While this language is common in separation agreements, I think it is worth noting that failing to abide by this section of the agreement could subject ARRL to legal action.
