HQ received a call today from the son of Tom Comstock, N5TC, informing us that Tom had passed away. Tom was former West Gulf Division Director and was named Director Emeritus in 2012. HQ is preparing an article.

I worked with Tom over the years and learned a lot from him. He was a hard worker and really cared for the League. He set a good example for being a Board member. He was also a Director on the ARRL Foundation.

This is very sad news about Tom and on the heels of losing another former Board official Harry Dannals. I’d also like to thank Jim Boehner and Bill Morine for filling in for me representing the League at Harry Dannals funeral. I was at the Dakota Division Convention and unable to attend. Thank you, Jim and Bill.
