Although I am a fellow radio operator, I'm not enthused toward the ARRL's preservation project. If BPL can allow consumers more choice in broad-band technology, then it will most certainly propogate (sic) something much more important--price competition. I believe it's fair to say that there are millions more people interested in high-speed Internet access than in the dwindling thousands of radio operators Mr. Sumner represents. Hartzell, KB3COP 6046 Newtown Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19111 Phone: 215- Email: bill_rebel@hotmail.com License Class: Technician License Issue: 05/07/1998 Birthday: 17 Feb, 1959 The ARRL database does not show WB3COP to be a former ARRL member. But I don't know how long the records of former members are kept. There's bound to be a deluded few hams out there. This one appears to have a chip on shoulder about amateur radio. 73 - Dick, W9GIG
