The Washington State Legislature is considering a Bill to allow up to six marijuana plants to be grown in a private residence. This coupled with the already blossoming (pun intended) industry in Washington, Oregon and Colorado, will bring about more 'grow light' interference to Ham Radio. Are we (ARRL) pursuing this interference issue, and is the FCC at all receptive of the Ham Radio Community complaints? I will be speaking against this legislation at the Science and Technology Committee, just after the first of the year. 73 and good Hamming Jim Pace, K7CEX ARRL the National Association for Amateur Radio Northwestern Division Director
