David is monitoring the situation in Connecticut and for facilities, too. Conditions are changing rapidly and hopefully will continue to improve. I plan to call our usual spring EC meeting in a few weeks and we will make a decision then.

By July, likely all of us will likely have had an opportunity to be fully vaccinated. I received my second Pfizer dose February 4.

Over 300 million people worldwide have been vaccinated with few side effects.

If one chooses not to get vaccinated, that’s a personal choice. Some people eschew modern medicine for religious purposes. Some simply fear things they don’t understand. Some believe in vast conspiracy theories. 

Let’s set an example for the amateur radio community and, given no unforeseen circumstances, I believe we should plan for an in-person meeting.

Keep in mind that not all of us are planning on getting any shots.  Have managed to go over 50 years without getting either flu shots or the flu.  Not quite ready to rush out and get this stuff shot in me.  Also, there has been a story that there will be a Tamiflu type medicine coming out in a few months so one can wait until they are actually sick and take their meds.

Connecticut has relaxed its restrictions and New Jersey is likely going to as well.

As perhaps the youngest member of the board, at a ripe ol age of 54, ok, don't everyone choke on their coffee at the same time about that,,,,   I have managed to get in under our search and rescue program, and will get my second dose next Friday. 

In various emails with folks it sounds like many on the board are also making in to get the shot.
