QRZ is giving new hams a free handheld radio which they claimed to have customized and not just re-branded. They are working with Gigaparts. https://forums.qrz.com/index.php?threads/announcing-the-qrz-new-ham-jumpstar... Seems like a good idea on the surface. Maybe people will be enticed to get licensed to get a new radio which is not their stated goal but could be a nice side effect. The radio sells for $60 otherwise. Ria N2RJ
