Just wanted to let you know that I support this decision but I was sorry to hear about the resignation of George, WB8BGY. Our club, WCRA (Wheaton Community Radio Amateurs, W9CCU), had to make a similar decision with our newsletter. At first we eliminated it, but that was a poor decision - too big of a change too fast. Now we will publish the hard copy, with an expanded edition (in color) on the web. It seems that some hams embrace the internet as a tool to enhance their enjoyment of amateur radio, while others see it as a threat - or maybe they feel they're too far behind the learning curve to ever catch up. It might be a good idea to publish some articles in QST aimed at demonstrating how easy (and inexpensive) it can be to get on the internet. Maybe even list (or rate) some ISP's. Used computers with more than enough power for internet browsing are available for less than the cost of an HT. Our club lost some long time members due to the changes we made, but we wouldn't have lost as many if we had handled it better. Well that's my two cents worth and, since you're the Director, you get to listen! Thanks for all your work & 73, Robert N9EF
