Good Morning from snowy NYC --
We got around 31 inches of snow in my part of Brooklyn. Over the course of the storm, I had to get out in the backyard a number of times to clear an area for the dogs to go. White-out conditions during the storm made that difficult. And then, to avoid shoveling 31 inches at once, we went out 3 times during the course of the storm to clear the front steps, yard and a path on the sidewalk for anyone crazy enough to be out and about.
Just to round out the picture, we live 7-8 miles NW of Bradley airport along the CT/MA border. Our snowfall total was 0.1". Yes one-tenth. Add that to the one inch received just before the Board meeting for our winter total so far. Forecast is for rain showers next week. -- Tom ===== e-mail: k1ki@arrl.org ARRL New England Division Director http://www.arrl.org/ Tom Frenaye, K1KI, P O Box J, West Suffield CT 06093 Phone: 860-668-5444
