I have not had a chance to play with NBEMS recently. I'm still waiting for it to incorporate a new HF system known as "DEX."

I assume he is referring to the VBDigi screens that appear on the NBEMS site, which links off Allen's site. Those images show only standard PSK QSOs, so they do contain errors. When NBEMS operates in ARQ mode using the FLARQ application, it is error free. For whatever reason, they don't show FLARQ screens.

The site in question is not an ARRL site--this is the NBEMS site, so we have little control over what they display.

Every sample screen of NBEMS I've seen is full of errors. I can't tell whether this is the result of careless inputting or an indication that the error-correction feature does not work very well. Has anyone within ARRL participated in beta-testing or QC'ing this product?

If you have had a chance to visit WeDoThat-Radio.org you may have noticed that there is a section of the blog devoted to NBEMS and Skip Teller, KH6TY. This, coupled with the absence of Winlink, may generate some unhappiness among Winlink devotees.

Back in January, Allen Pitts invited Steve Waterman, K4CJX to contribute a couple of pages to the Web site. Allen has not yet received anything, but the offer is still open.

So if you happen to field a complaint about this, please assure the complainant that Winlink has not been excluded and additional material can be added at any time.
