Dear Diane, Ria et al: Yes, I recall the problems with the 2012 election, however electronic voting has advanced considerably since then, both in integrity of process and in acceptance. As for the low participation rate, regularly scheduled email blast to members leading up to the ballot deadline should, in my opinion, increase participation. Hi Bill, I do think we need to allow online voting as an option. When we last had electronic voting in 2012 I seem to recall the process being fill out a word doc and email it. Wtf? Many were frustrated with the process and as such did not vote from what I was told. (This election was in the Hudson division as you may recall). Fast forward to 2019 and we can do better. Online systems are used by other organizations including shareholder board proxy votes.
