This information is from a verbal report I received from someone who was on a Zoom ARDC meeting yesterday.
They have given out around half of the $6 million they expect to hand out this year. Apparently, they now expect to have to give out an additional $2.7 million. This makes a total of around $5.7 million left to disperse.
Over half of the $3 million they have already given out went to the MIT radio club for what does not strike me as being something of outstanding value.
This reinforces my view that what ham radio needs are good ideas on how to spend money, not ideas related to how to raise more.
