In case the wording of my "inquiry" as to whether or not we have established protocol for dealing with any member(s) who may show up for a Board Meeting may have fooled someone, please recognize I was not suggesting we invite them in. My question was if we had procedures in place to deal with such situations. One procedure would be to say they are not welcome to attend. I assumed there was such a procedure established, but I didn't want to get caught in a situation where a car-load of members showed up at the front desk and we had to rush into a rump session to determine what to do. It being established that we can dis-invite anyone from any Board Meeting and cite long-established policy (to make things look better), I would favor publishing the agenda. Would this do any good? Don't know for certain, but I think it would. If nothing else, it would show members who take the time to read and digest the agenda we are serious. Would it do any harm? I can't think of how it would. Anyone with a preconceived opinion that we are a bunch of idiots (or would it be lid-iots in this case) already has this opinion.
