Thanks, Cliff and Jim. In
addition to noting the outstanding work done by staff in designing and
executing the Expo area and in staffing it over the weekend, we’re also
mindful that fully ¾ of the Expo team were volunteers. Thanks to everyone who
pitched in to make this year’s Expo, I believe, the best yet.

Subject: Congratulations on Dayton ARRL EXPO
I would like to add my
congratulations to all that participated in the ARRL EXPO at Dayton!
I really cannot put into words
the positive effect that the EXPO had on the Hamvention and for Amateur Radio
in General. Despite long hours of work, the staff’s enthusiasm
never wavered.
As I said when the EXPO first
started, it is the very best event that the ARRL could have held to show who we
are, what we do, and why it is important to be a member!
I understand sales reached an
all time high! Congratulations!
Dave and Harold, please let the
staff know what a great job they did this weekend, and offer my thanks!

Subject: Congratulations on Dayton ARRL EXPO
I thought the Dayton ARRL EXPO was outstanding this
year. And several ARRL members from the Midwest Division complimented the
League on bringing all the services and such a wonderful “snapshot”
of ARRL HQ to Dayton. They also praised the staff and volunteers who
helped in all the booths, and expressed their pleasure at being able to meet so
many of the officers, directors, and staff. I’m sure all of
you are still recovering from the countless hours of preparation and hard work
that went into this. Thanks for a job well-done.
For those Board members who were unable to attend, I thought
you might be interested in the feedback about the event.
