I do agree, but perhaps everyone on the board should consider sending Jim some mailing, be it a card, a QSL card or just a note.

I only knew of him while I was an SM, but I know he touched many lives and gave his all to the ARRL, even to the detriment of his business.

This is the time that he should not feel alone.

Rick

A card should be purchased and sent on behalf of the Board to Jim, before time runs out.

    Emai
ls cannot be held in one's hand and do not convey the same level of concern as a card.

Hello.  I have just returned home from spending the afternoon with Jim.  He sends you all his best.  Suzette has asked me to send to you the attached information for distribution to the ARRL family.   We hope that it will address most of the questions that we are sure folks have.

As information becomes available, I will let you know.

Rick, as history does tend to repeat itself, I apologize in advance for again porking your call sign and not catching it before I hit “print.”

73’s,

Stacy
