Good stuff! One thing I noted was:
* Launched the The ARES E- Letter now at 14,000 subscribers.
Between that newsletter edited by Rick Palm/K1CE, and the one on contesting edited by Ward Silver/N0AX, I think we should be getting a clear message that there is great interest in timely focused news. Both of these newsletters have been filled with things that would normally not make it into QST - but they are of great interest to subgroups of ARRL members. I'd sure like to see another half-dozen or more of them in place by the end of the year. What resources are really needed to do them? Obviously the author is the key. I hope we're paying each of them something reasonable for their effort. Other than that, I can't think of any significant resources needed. -- Tom ===== e-mail: k1ki@arrl.org ARRL New England Division Director http://www.arrl.org/ Tom Frenaye, K1KI, P O Box J, West Suffield CT 06093 Phone: 860-668-5444
