I only became aware of this today.  This will be in the ARRL Letter emailed later:

ARRL Volunteer Curator of ARRL's historical collection Michael Marinaro, WN1M, of South Glastonbury, Connecticut, died on May 17. An ARRL member, he was 84.

I am personally very sad and shocked to learn that we have lost Mike.  We’ve been talking about the attention we need to bring to historical projects and he was our guy!

My understanding is that he took his responsibility very seriously and was even territorial about protecting the myriad historical assets he inventoried and maintained.

He will be missed.
