Past Hudson Division Director Paul Vydareny, WB2VUK died last Thursday, reportedly as the result of an aneurysm. Paul’s service as a Director was brief – he moved up from Vice Director in January 1996 and resigned in September of that year – but prior to that he had accumulated a long record of volunteer service to the ARRL, including as Eastern New York SM (1980-1996) and Vice Director (1987-1996 – in those days Vice Directors were allowed to serve simultaneously as SMs).
