
Sadly, they seem to have use the number of petitions they received on the morse code requirement as the measure of where the sentiments of most amateur licensees lie. I just got off the phone with Dave and Chris. Chris is still sorting it out but it appears all the Commission is proposing is to eliminate the Morse requirement and nothing else.
Obviously, this is unacceptable as far as not giving any attention to restructuring.
